I'm a 29-year-old web development engineer at Amazon.com. I consider myself a well-rounded developer. Although my strength is in PHP/MySQL (with Ruby competing for that title), I know enough, design, CSS, and JavaScript to make me dangerous!
I'm not intimidated by back-end programming concepts such as object-oriented programming, pattern, and security or front-end concepts such as accessibility, usability, and graceful degradation (not to be mistaken with progressive enhancement).
Over the years I've learned a lot about a lot… but the most important thing I've learned is that "as for me, all I know is that I know nothing". I know enough to realize that there is so much more out there to know and so many smart people to learn from, and that's what I try to do every chance I get.
Now without further ado, let's get to know a little more about me shall we?

Curtis C. Harvey Scholarship
Towards the end of my Junior year in high school I was invited to an academic awards ceremony. It was under the pretence that I was going to help with the audio/visual and lighting equipment. To my surprise, one of the awards was the Curtis C. Harvey Scholarship for outstanding performance in the area of computer science!
