Towards the end of my Junior year in high school I was invited to an academic awards ceremony. It was under the pretence that I was going to help with the audio/visual and lighting equipment. To my surprise, one of the awards was the Curtis C. Harvey Scholarship for outstanding performance in the area of computer science!

After graduating high school, I moved from Barranquilla, Colombia to Charlotte, NC to pursue a degree in Computer Science in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Some of best years of my life!
